National FFA Week

By Alivia Seaman, Waynoka FFA Reporter

On Sunday, February 4th, we started off FFA Week by attending church at New-Song with many members of our chapter. After church members prepared for the week by decorating the school halls in Blue & Gold. Monday's dress up theme was “Here by the Corn” (Blue and Gold Day). There was also a guessing jar set up on Monday for the elementary students. Tuesday's theme was “Here by the Shield of Friendship” (Twin Day) and a chapter meeting at lunch. Tuesday morning officers interviewed with K-101 and KALV radio stations. On Wednesday the dress up theme was “Here by the Plow” (Farmer Day), the chapter also took donuts to the Coop and the teachers to show our appreciation for all they do. The dress up theme on Thursday was “Here by the Flag” (America Day) and a petting zoo was held for the elementary studends. To finish out the week, Friday's dress up theme was “Wild, Wild Attire” ( wild rags or animal print), and the chapter officers hosted Wake up Waynoka. It was a great week with lots of fun activities!
